We are here

After a five hour flight, a two hour bus ride, and an hour car ride we have arrived at the farm! Not the most direct way to get here but we are here none the less and have already picked our first bunch of strawberries.

Carter and I sat next to a native Bostonian...I had quite a hard time understanding his accent. Hopefully I will be able to understand all the customers at the farmers market!

On the way to the farm we stopped at Freeport to buy Carter a pair of L.L.Bean boots. What a beautiful area! It is right on the coast with all these fun shops and old buildings. It looks like the cover of a magazine.

Here are two pictures of the farm. Sunny and warm!

  1. Oh boy! Thanks for starting with first impressions, and even a couple of photos! It won't be long and you will be speaking a new dialect yourselves. I remember my first long conversation with a native Bostonian, and I felt the same way as you did. What a lovely place! Gma M
